Time to Believe that Your Uniqueness is Rewarded
Someone on TikTok recently told me that “altruistic takes” like mine sound nice, but people need sales at the end of the day. That was her reaction to a video titled: “Marketing Kills Creativity.” That’s the big fear. “If I slow down to really reconnect with my passion for this work and take the time to craft content that means something, I’ll miss out on outcomes.” There’s a pressure to stay moving, implement strategies as fast as possible, plug-n-play copy templates, get ChatGPT to write it…because fast = sales. Right? Or, we attempt to regulate our discomfort with uncertainty through action. It’s not about whether or not this template is the best, or if people should or shouldn’t use ChatGPT, or if this person’s launch model is the ONE… All of this has amplified what can happen to creative, original thinkers: Self-abandonment through our businesses. While I said marketing kills creativity, it’s not actually the villain here. It’s a mirror. Because, there is a very powerful way to market your business that nurtures and even encourages your boldest, most creative, paradigm-shifting voice to come through. HOWEVER… Our APPROACH to online marketing prioritizes speed and quick outcomes (no matter how fleeting) over depth, connection, resonance, and true lasting impact. And, it shows in the content. When you don’t slow down to reconnect with why you felt called to teach, create, and help others, it’s easy to fall into burnout-based models (which cost you a LOT more in the end). These old business and marketing systems are hard to sustain. They subtly convince you that something is missing in you. It leads to a lack of self-trust and constantly pivoting (which erodes trust with your audience). That person’s comment to me wasn’t about me or this message. It was a real-time example of fear in reaction mode. The fear of missing out on sales, no matter how small. (Coupled with feeling judged for what they may have implemented to seek those sales.) Fear tells us creativity is a distraction. A waste of time. When it’s truly the source of YOUR abundance. And, it’s what people crave right now. There’s this parasitic belief that being real with people isn’t practical. That you need to put your head down and follow the “rules” laid out for you. That being your truest self isn’t rewarded That’s fear. Not truth.
What if you believed that plenty of people are excited to pay you to be MORE of yourself?
People come to me when the old marketing strategies stopped working OR they don't have it in them to keep pushing and hustling to keep up. They commonly share that... Sales strategies that once worked have now stagnated. They hired a coach or copywriter who didn't understand them or their industry. They invested thousands into something that felt mediocre and didn't lead to the outcome they were promised. They received a lot of conflicting advice about what to do or focus on to fix it. They want to rewrite sales pages, email sequences, optins, and ad copy...but the words aren't coming. They also want to write their book, imagine new ways to expand their audience, reach people with a message that matters. They want to write and create content that feels like THEM and sparks passion and joy for the business again. They want to gain visibility for their true message. But, they have been putting off developing that message because of the demands of marketing and sales. They're having a hard trusting themselves to do the right thing because they've recently met so much resistance.

There's a reason, as painful and frustrating as it can feel, that a lot of templated approaches to marketing don't work (for long) for the wise teachers. You may have had your own "WTF, UNIVERSE. WHY GUIDE ME TO DO THIS IF IT'S THIS HARD??" moments where you felt called to pursue this path...and then it didn't work like you hoped. (I've thrown plenty of tantrums myself) Your empathy is your magnetism. Your experiences, hard and amazing, are the building blocks to your unique wisdom. A lot of marketing strategies ask you to compromise your integrity and intuition in favor or what someone else says "works." But, I'm telling you, I've seen A LOT in this industry. And, to be frank, there's plenty of smoke and mirrors and made up outcomes that those business owners manufactured in order to sell more spots in a program (it's a fear based approach to marketing that's more rampant than many know). That's not you. Never was and never will be. Your message MUST include your most aligned, empathetic, direct, truthful voice. You're here to help others. And our messaging is part of that process.

The age of self-appointed gurus or “follow this proprietary framework to have this specific outcome” is beginning to crumble. What feels forced is losing it’s potent chokehold on so many others. It’s really important you believe that it will be more than worth it. Your visibility and wealth expands the more you’re YOU.

1.) Show me your business (Onboarding) You'll be working directly with me in this mentorship. Think of me as your energy and messaging consultant on retainer. The onboarding experience is a thorough process where we get behind the curtain and look at it all - your program, your current assets, your website, any other offer. 2.) Get to the real energy of your message (Messaging Sessions) These are essential meeting points where we meet on Zoom and connect with what you're here to say, how you're meant to express it, and identify what's getting in the way. These sessions bring together the energetic and the practical. What comes through is for you specifically. You walk away with clearer ideas, knowing your next moves to make. 3.) Get direct support on everything you create (Asset Audits) Post-messaging session, you'll start to send me what you're working on. You can either send in two assets per week OR send in two bold questions. There are lessons on exactly how to do this. I'll make you custom Loom videos on where to go from there. You implement, resend, and we keep iterating like that together. 4.) Finish your funnel, launch programs, create more than you imagined! This is an ongoing, monthly relationship between you and me and your message.
